Scheduling that checks the route before booking
Workiz's Genius Scheduling, on its Pro and Ultimate plans, suggests technicians and time slots for a new job based on how close it is to jobs and leads already on the calendar, within a distance range you set. Online booking can use technician availability, which considers jobs, leads, tasks, events, and time off.
Relay compares the additional drive time each eligible placement would create before offering the customer a time. It matches the work to qualified technicians, accounts for the appointments on either side of each placement, and can shift flexible work to make room while preserving fixed times and customer arrival windows.
The office, online booking, and maintenance booking all use this same check, so a time a customer picks online has already been tested against the route it joins.
The same engine also builds a whole day in one step: Build Schedule assigns the day's unscheduled work to technicians and orders each route, keeping locked jobs in place and respecting priorities, skills, and availability.
